Caravaggio street level restoration.

I found this to be a great way to make classic art relevant to today's youth and way to consume art. Art is life and life is on the street not in museums.

Passersby and art lovers alike can watch restoration in action as a 1609 masterwork by Italian painter Caravaggio is treated in Italy's lower chamber of parliament. Restorers have set up a temporary laboratory at street level to touch up Caravaggio's Adoration of the Shepherds in the Chamber of Deputies, on via Parlamento 19, in Rome.

Trivial Pursuit Experiment

Just like Nike did in one of their latest campaigns where it put women against men, Trivial Pursuit thought to use this ancestral competition to get you back to their site.

You get to answer a question and if you get it right you help your side in the competition if you get it wrong you get to see a youtube video where your own sex acted like a moron...and you can also send the video to a friend...

To promote their exhibition stand at the Franfurt Book Fair, Eichborn the publisher with the fly prepared 200 flies with an ultra light banner. The banner was attached with natural wax. After a short time the banner dropped off by itself. And the flies were not harmed.

The site offers ‘live and on-demand video from all the main UK institutions and the European Parliament’. Users are able to search the site for video footage of officials and the topics that are of interest to them.
You will be then be able to follow the contributions of elected representatives in the various parliaments and find out more about their backgrounds.
As well as providing an important resource for current affairs, the site will also include information on the workings of the institutions of the UK government and their powers .
The aim is to make ‘Democracy Live’ a resource that is to be shared with its users who will be able download video and text content and place it on their own blogs and sites.
